The Arc of Atlantic County has been helping people live the lives they choose since 1961.

In addition to housing programs, employment opportunities, family respite services and adult training, we offer case management to navigate the complex system of qualifying for services and maintaining support over a lifetime.

Things are more complicated than ever as the Division of Developmental Disabilities is changing to a “fee for services” model. It’s ¬†important to get in touch with The Arc and speak to a case manager right away. Call 609.485.0800.

There are many services available for people with I/DD that must be approved by the government. Some of them depend on the age of the applicant. You will need to fill out forms and provide personal information to qualify. These services include:

  • Housing
  • In-home respite
  • After-school programs
  • Life skills training
  • Support services through waivers
  • Career services
  • Day habilitation in the Adult Training Center

There are many FREE services available for people with I/DD that everyone can participate in.¬†The Arc can help you find programs that are right for you and your family. You can work directly with us and won’t have to fill out a lot of paperwork to qualify for:

  • Social activities
  • Adult evening classes
  • Saturday and Sunday program
  • Access Link transportation
  • Support employment services
